Oi, gente!
Faz algum tempo que não mando notícias, e gostaria de escrever para te atualizar sobre como a vida está por aqui.
Primeiro, quero compartilhar uma novidade, especialmente para aqueles que têm orado por mim há muito tempo em relação a um relacionamento: estou namorando! Deus ouviu minhas orações e me abençoou com a vida do Alex. O Alex é inglês e mora em outra cidade. Nesta semana, completamos dois meses de namoro e seguimos orando para que Deus abençoe nossas decisões e nosso futuro juntos.
Comecei o ano muito animada com a possibilidade de organizar um evento para encorajar e capacitar líderes em Cosmovisão Bíblica. A ideia era trazer Darrow Miller, do Disciple Nations Alliance, e já estávamos conversando há alguns meses sobre sua vinda. No entanto, por motivos de saúde, ele precisou canceler. O evento estava programado para acontecer agora em maio.
Isso me fez perder um pouco da confiança em mim mesma. Me fez pensar que, sempre que tento algo novo, algo acontece e me impede de prosseguir. Minha oração é para que Deus me ajude a entender melhor por que essas coisas acontecem, mesmo depois de orar e sentir que estou na direção certa, e também a seguir em frente naquilo em que accredits.
Fora isso, sigo servindo. No começo de fevereiro, estive no Marrocos com o Frágil. Fui ajudar a Ana nas reuniões com líderes comunitários e também cobrir a parte de mídia da viagem. O Frágil atua no Norte da África na prevenção do tráfico humano e no desenvolvimento comunitário. Além disso, tem realizado um trabalho no Paquistão, libertando famílias que vivem há anos em situação de escravidão moderna.
Sigo servindo no Banco de Alimentos e com os jovens adultos. Tenho buscado me envolver com líderes da cidade enquanto procuro entender melhor o meu papel entre eles.
Neste domingo, dia 9 de Março, fazem dois anos que minha mãe se foi. A vida nunca foi tão difícil. A saudade é muito grande. Ela faz muita falta. Especialmente agora que estou namorando, eu queria muito poder compartilhar tudo com ela. Minha mãe era uma das minha melhores amigas e tem muita coisa que eu gostaria de compartilhar com ela.
Esta semana, estou lançando uma campanha para aumentar meu sustento. Fiz um post aqui no blog sobre isso, mas você também pode encontrar mais informações nas páginas de contato e sobre o meu trabalho.

Hey, everyone!
It’s been a while since I last shared any updates, so I wanted to write and let you know how things are going over here.
First, I have some exciting news to share, especially for those who have been praying for me for a long time regarding relationships: I’m in a relationship! God has heard my prayers and blessed me with Alex. Alex is English and lives in another city. This week, we’re celebrating two months of dating, and we continue to pray for God to guide our decisions and our future together.
I started the year feeling really excited about the possibility of organising an event to encourage and equip leaders in Biblical Worldview. The idea was to bring Darrow Miller from Disciple Nations Alliance, and we had been in discussions for a few months about his visit. However, due to health reasons, he had to cancel. The event was planned for May.
This made me lose a bit of confidence in myself. It made me think that every time I try something new, something happens that stops me from moving forward. My prayer is that God will help me better understand why these things happen, even after praying and feeling that I am on the right path, and also help me to keep going in what I believe in.
Other than that, I keep serving. At the beginning of February, I was in Morocco with Frágil. I went to support Ana in meetings with community leaders and also to cover the media side of the trip. Frágil works in North Africa in human trafficking prevention and community development. Additionally, they have been working in Pakistan, freeing families who have lived in modern slavery for years.
I continue serving with the Food Bank and with young adults. I’ve been trying to engage with local leaders while also seeking to better understand my role among them.
This Sunday, 9th March, marks two years since my mum passed away. Life has never felt so difficult. I miss her immensely, and her absence is deeply felt. Especially now that I’m in a relationship, I wish I could share everything with her. My mum was one of my best friends, and there are so many things I would love to tell her.
This week, I’m launching a campaign to increase my support. I wrote a blog post about it, but you can also find more information on the contact and about pages.
